3D mapping – visualization and preparation of spatial effects that depend on the location of the viewer.

The aim of the workshop is to give an overview of the making of video material to be projected as well as the activities before it. Participants will learn to use different video making technics to create spatial effects on projected surface as well as 3D environment. In addition, they will learn to create 3D models from pictures, which they can use later in 3D mapping, and fast animation.

Look the showreel of Sander’s previous video projects:

All participants must bring a laptop. Previous knowledge about photo and video editing programs is a plus but is not required. We will use freeware programs, but all knowledge acquired from the workshop applies to almost all other 3D and video editing programs.
